“Consider a retired 80-something person who has no idea how thieves can steal her identity”

Terry: "What, men aren’t considered persons these days?

Please use the singular 'they' rather than perpetuate sexism. (Reverse sexism is just as bad.)"

Actually, both are incorrect. "They" is inappropriate in this case, as the statement referred to a single individual. When using a singular pronoun in a gender-neutral context, use of the masculine form is correct (even if not politically correct). The sentence should read "his identity."

Read Zanders "Fine Print"

This is why $20K will cover your losses; you must first reach the policy limits of your homeowners and any other coverage you have before you can get near that $20K

"Benefits Coordination with Other Theft Coverage

The Program's lost income and expense reimbursement services are available to you even if you have identity theft insurance with another company. For example, homeowner's policies and credit card companies frequently provide such coverage. However, if you become a victim of an Identity Theft Event, you must seek reimbursement from that company first, up to its policy limits. Then, if you do not receive full reimbursement of your expenses and lost income associated with the recovery process under that coverage, you would be eligible to receive the difference, up to the limits of and subject to the terms and conditions of the PIIC Policy.

We deal with a lot of people who have real problems with sexual dysfunction due to debt. I suppose it is true that any form of stress will hurt sexual perfomance.

Our family discovered that my husband's identity information had been breeched when an investigator from the state left a note card at our house to call them so they could alert us that someone claiming to be him had recently obtained a driver's license in his name. I guess they have a system that compares old to new dl's to see if there are differences.

That very day I signed up the family for the Zander plan. If this person trys to get away with anything I want to be prepared. We know who it was. They don't know us personally. We suspect that he got access to one of our vehicles and found just enough information to construct false documents.

This situation also forced me to slow down and look at our credit report where I did find a mistake that we are working on. Being busy people in a vulnerable economy the extra cost of $6 a month is really minor. The peace of mind is a good investment.

finance girl,
i kno this has happened a while ago now but i just wanted to comment on the story. i am a worker at a cvs and i feel bad ab ur experience. u are right, the cashier should have did the coupons in order that u give them to her. i figure yall kno how many extra bucks u are getting back and stuff. i do want to let u and everyone else kno that u shouldnt be "offended" when we look at ur coupons closely. outsiders dont kno this but that register is connected to a system called (viper) and it looks to see if we abuse peoples coupons. we get in trouble if we let customers abuse the system ie: using a coupon for something the coupon was not intended for. as long as u use ur coupons for what they were intended for, then the cashier doesnt have a legitimate argument.

Glad to hear both you and the baby are doing well. I am surprised your daycare costs will only be $600 per month. I am in the DC area and I have to say friends with children are paying significantly more.
