i know these scenarios must be fun for you to figure out and for people playing the CVS game to read, but i really miss your regular posts! i loved checking your site every day for interesting stuff about your family, debt repayment, building and using emergency funds, etc. the finance doesn’t feel as personal with the CVS stuff! anyway, just my two cents - would love to hear more about what’s going on in the world of FgP’s pocketbook! thanks :)

Thanks for your comment. I know exactly what you’re saying! At first the CVS posts seemed somewhat interesting, but lately they’re just a cop out because I haven’t had time for regular posts. My husband has been complaining about it for months!

I’m planning to do a blog “re-launch” (um, Finance Gets Personal-er?) within the next week or so. I may still post CVS/Walgreens deals occasionally, but I might look into putting them in another tab on the blog to not interfere with regular posts. I figure there are a lot of really good deals websites out there, but there’s only one me! If the deals posts bring new people to the website, that’s great, but I’m finding that the demographic is, how shall I say this… slightly different than the people who would want to read my regular posts.

OK, longest comment response ever. Does this count as a post for today? Just kidding, but I have to work on work stuff tonight. Boo!
