I use my cell phone as an alarm and when I hear it go off, I run across the room to turn it off, but instead of leaving it across the room I take it back to my bed. Then I continue to hit the snooze button for anywhere up to three hours! I've tried hard to break it, but it is VERY hard! The coffee idea sounds really good. I hope it works for you.
