I heard about this idea somewhere a year or two ago (I'd give them credit, but I can't remember...). I did it for a while but then stopped when I became "broke" at some point.

I'm working on starting up again. Tonight I had to go get dishwashing detergent, so I bought two of those, two toothpastes, two saving creams, two laundry detergents (all things I'm almost out of). I wonder what the checkout lady thought...

Nice stockpile you got going there - reminds me of some of the Grocery Game stockpile photos I used to see on their site. It makes sense to stay out of the store as much as possible with all the price increases we are seeing across the board.

Good idea! I too am impressed by your organization. I'm really trying to stick only to my list when I go in somewhere, but I agree, the more you're in stores, the more you find to buy!

that's a very organized and smart plan! i sort of do that by buying "bonus packs" on items like deodorant or toothpaste where i don't have a brand i'm dedicated to, so i might as well branch out for cheapness. i also try to make sure that i actually use up the stuff i have on hand first, so i root around in cupboards and consolidate "almost empty" bottles for a while until it's really a need, rather than just a convenience to go get a new one.
