I Finally Got My Cheap Haircut
Back in February, I wrote about dumping my high-priced hair salon.
Well, the problem with not going to a fancy place is that you no longer have hair “appointments,” so until tonight, I hadn’t gotten a haircut in about 14 weeks. Yikes!
I finally went to Snip ‘N Clip and got my hair cut for $14 plus tip. That’s about $20 less than before, and I think it looks pretty good! The bangs are a little shorter than last time, but it’s actually kind of cute. I won’t really know how it looks ’til tomorrow though because my hair is so frizzy right now from all this rain.
Yearly savings: $140.

hee! i was just joking with a hairstylist last night about how i only get my hair cut oh, about every 9 months! he’s going to give me a full cut and color in exchange for being in some photos for his new portfolio. the picture taking was hilarious and only took about an hour, and i’m going to get about a $100 service in return! neat. esp. since it’ll be, you know, next february before i get it done again
Dang, I need to make friends with a hair dresser! I was the “model” for a friends’ massage therapy brochure a few weeks ago. Free massage! Now if only I could find a lawyer, esthetician, house painter and maid looking for favors…
