Found you from the smart spending blog on msnbc. Very cute game. I’ve only ever gambled- I’ve had maybe 10 scratch off lottery tickets and about $5 in slots in my lifetime. I consider it to be an entertainment expense, it sure cost less than anything else to do.

I didn’t “drink” for ‘pay for groceries on a credit card’- because I don’t consider that to be a financial mistake. I ALWAYS pay for groceries (and almost everything else) on a CC, but have never ever carried a balance on any card. I get 5% cashback for groceries, it would be stupid to not charge them.

Okay, I did bounce a check (once), I carried a balance on my credit cards during my last bout with unemployment, and I borrowed money from relatives to pay off a medical bill. I’ll cop to all of that. Three shots… whenever I buy liquor (which is never ;)).

Still, I take exception to the fact that I always pay for groceries with a credit card. My wife and I never carry cash. Instead, we pay most of our expenses with our credit cards to max out our cash back rewards, then pay them off at the end of the month. I personally don’t consider that poor financial sense, so I refuse to take a shot for it.
